The Burnside Church Revitalization Plan will build a master plan for the future of Bicentennial Park. The master plan will be developed through community and stakeholder engagement, and from the previously developed concept plans from 2021.
The Silver Lane Revitalization Plan is a comprehensive strategy to transform the nearby Silver Lane neighborhood into a vibrant "live, work, learn, play neighborhood" through strategic rezoning, targeted investments in catalyst projects like the Showcase Cinemas site, improved transportation infrastructure, and mixed-use development that capitalizes on proximity to Pratt & Whitney employment and regional amenities. Like the Burnside Church Revitalization Plan, the Silver Lane Plan was funded with the Brownfields-Area Wide Redevelopment (BAR) grant.
